South Dakota Farm Bureau offers two forms of memberships:

Producer membership - A membership for an individual or family who derive a portion of their income directly from farming or ranching, owners of property where farming or ranching is conducted, or who have retired from farming/ranching and are not otherwise employed.

Associate membership - A membership for an individual or family who is not in production agriculture, but is supportive of the industry, or is interested in one of the many member benefits such as insurance.
