Students from South Dakota State University Collegiate Farm Bureau will dig into the question of how our food is produced when they host a showing of the movie “Food Evolution” on Wednesday, March 28 at 7 p.m. at the Baily Rotunda Room D on the SDSU campus.

The documentary explores how easily misinformation, mixed messages in the media and fear may confuse consumers, and how buyers of food can better understand the science and biotechnology used in agriculture.

The SDSU Collegiate Farm Bureau is partnering with the SDSU Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow for this campus-wide Ag Day event. The event is free and open to the public. Following the movie, a 30-minute panel discussion will take place, including a question-and-answer opportunity for attendees. Brookings / Kingsbury County Farm Bureau is helping to sponsor this event.
