South Dakota Farm Bureau is considering individuals for nomination to serve on the United Sorghum Checkoff Program Board. The position is a three-year term that begins in December 2026, with the option to be reappointed for a second term.

Sorghum producers who own or share in the ownership and risk of loss of sorghum production in South Dakota are eligible. To be considered for nomination, or to recommend another individual, please complete this form no later than May 27, 2026.  

The 13-member Sorghum Board was established to maintain and expand the market for sorghum. A list of certified producer organizations, nomination form, and information about the Sorghum Board are available on the United Sorghum Checkoff Program webpage and the board’s website, sorghumcheckoff.com.
