A $1.51 billion settlement has been reached with Syngenta over class action and individual lawsuits related to the sale and marketing of its Agrisure Viptera and Duracade corn seeds and the alleged harm that Syngenta’s conduct caused corn producers, grain handling facilities and ethanol plants. Included below is a link to a flier that may be helpful with information regarding the settlement. The flier provides:
1. A summary of who is affected by the settlement;
2. The settlement program’s website (www.CornSeedSettlement.com) where class members can (a) file claims for compensation and (b) find important documents (e.g., the Settlement Agreement and complete long-form legal notice that explains class members’ rights, options, and deadlines to act) and other information (e.g., answers to Frequently Asked Questions); and
3. The settlement program’s toll-free call center line (1-833-567-CORN or 1-833-567-2676).
