Share Your Voice on Feed Tonnage Fee Increase

The South Dakota Department of Agriculture (SDDA) is considering an increase in the feed tonnage fee from $0.02/ton to $0.10/ton . The SDDA believes the fee increase is necessary to continue running the Animal Feed and Remedy Program. The purpose of this program is to protect producers, the agriculture industry, and consumers from mislabeled or adulterated feed and remedy products.
