South Dakota Farm Bureau (SDFB) Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee (YF&R) will be hosting a one-night virtual event featuring Watertown author Mitch Reed.

“How to Take Advantage of the Little Things in Life” is the title of Reed’s presentation that will take place on March 25, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. CT via Zoom. Pre-registration is required for the free event and can be completed by visiting https://bit.ly/3cFXpqs

“The past year has taught us a lot including to take time to slow down and appreciate the little things in life,” said Bryan Moes, SDFB YF&R Committee. “Reed’s presentation is very timely for all of us right now and we hope you will join us on March 25.”

The South Dakota Hall of Fame Act of Excellence winner and Florence, S.D. school superintendent’s talk is based on his book “Cardboard Confessionals” which began as a school sociology project. Reed asked his students to answer six basic questions about themselves and place their answers in a cardboard box.

Reed and his wife are the parents of two daughters.
