Tom McNenny Award

Each year, South Dakota Farm Bureau recognizes outstanding County Farm Bureaus through the "Tom McNenny Award. "Tom McNenny was SDFB President from 1963 to 1967, a Meade County rancher who firmly believed in the volunteer spirit and its importance in Farm Bureau. Since 1971, this award bearing his name has been given to one or more County Farm Bureaus that demonstrate improvement in its programs, stimulate interest and create enthusiasm among its members - all accomplished through the work of dedicated volunteers.
